Upon successful completion of the SOCdrills ELearning courses, graduates are able to not only understand the theory behind information security, but also how to apply it in real world situations. 
In addition, graduates receive: 
Real world project experience as a Security Apprentice that can be shared with potential employers. 
A network of cybersecurity professionals and experts from different organizations and backgrounds. 
SOC Analyst Certificate and digital badge upon meeting course requirements. Digital badge can be added to your Credly account, which can be proudly shown on LinkedIn.

Candidates who successfully complete the SOC Analyst Certificates include the following positions:
SOC Analyst, Network and Security Administrators, Network and Security Engineers, Network Defense Analyst, Network Defense Technicians, Network Security Specialist,Network Security Operator, and any security professional handling network security operations, Cybersecurity Analyst Cybersecurity professionals.

What are the prerequisite criteria for SOCdrills ELearning Courses?

CCNA or equivalent 
Relevant IT based University Degree or Vocational Diploma 
IT industry experience

What prep exercises can I do to prepare for the courses?

Accepted Answer

Applicants are expected to be familiar with basic IT concepts, computer networking, and the Linux command line. Start with our SOC & Cyber Range Foundation Certificate course.

What is the admissions process for mentor program?

Accepted Answer

Candidate completes the mentor program application. If accepted, candidate receives an electronic acceptance letter and enrollment agreement.

Question 7

How long is the course enrolment valid for? Can this be extended?

Accepted Answer

The course enrolment is valid for 12 months from the date of enrolment approval.  Note: An extension request will require the Approval of the Director of Certification.

What hardware and software do I need?

A Windows or Mac machine with at least an i7 processor and at least 8 GBs RAM is required.
